Will founded Utah Senior Planning with the vision of making it easier for seniors and veterans to access public benefits. Since 2007, he has been a pioneer in Medicaid planning in the state of Utah. Thanks to his leadership, Utah Senior Planning was the first in the State of Utah to utilize DRA-compliant annuities as a Medicaid planning tool. Will strives to keep Utah Senior Planning at the forefront of innovation and has compiled his group of employees to be able to assist any and every client, no matter what their situation may be.
Will is a certified estate planner, an avid BYU fan, and a father of four.
Working alongside his brother Will, Landon has helped to establish Utah Senior Planning as an innovative leader in long-term care planning. He has been instrumental in the company’s growth and has a reputation throughout the State of Utah for being an expert on issues relating to Medicaid.
Landon earned his Juris Doctorate from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He specializes in Medicaid planning, both pre-planning and crisis. Landon is the founding law partner at Sandberg, Stettler, & Bloxham, a V.A. Accredited Attorney, and lectures on Medicaid and VA issues throughout the State of Utah.
Casey has been a member of Utah Senior Planning since 2014 and serves as both legal counsel as well as human resource office. He spends much of his practice helping veterans and their families navigate the complexities of state and federal programs. Mr. Stettler is a V.A. Accredited and brings vital experience to an underrepresented number of former servicemembers and their spouses.
Mr. Stettler is a graduate of Drake University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Utah and Iowa. In addition to his work at USP, Casey is a law partner at Sandberg, Stettler, & Bloxham and frequently lectures on V.A. non-service connected pension benefits and Medicaid rules and eligibility.
Riley began working at Utah Senior Planning in 2013 as a receptionist and moved to Case Management within a year. She enjoys helping seniors achieve their goal of obtaining state benefits and is well-versed in the rules and requirements of Long-term Medicaid.
A lifelong resident of Utah, Riley lives in Layton with her husband and twin girls. She is avid reader and movie buff.
Justin Embry was one of the first employees at Utah Senior Planning. He learning senior living and eventually became a director at a senior living community. He came back to Utah Senior Planning in 2019 to manage one of the skilled nursing facility contracts and oversee online marketing.
Cody has been an integral member of the Utah Senior Planning staff since 2016. He ensures that day-to-day issues are resolved quickly and professionally. Cody’s optimism and openness help him ensure he delivers the highest level of service to both his clients and his fellow USP employees. Cody is dedicated to providing the highest level of service and developing innovative solutions to client needs.
Cody is a native Utahan and graduated Cum Laude from Weber State University, where he also played collegiate hockey. Mr. Bohin is currently the head coach of the Utah Golden Eagles 15-16 year-old youth hockey squad.
Kelly joined the Utah Senior Planning team in 2017 to assist clients with legal issues specifically designed to his skillset. He graduated with his Masters in Business Administration from Utah State University and subsequently attended Creighton University School of Law, where he was a member of the school’s law review.
Meagan began her work with Utah Senior Planning as a Case Manager in April of 2016. She is experienced in reviewing financial records and is proficient in Long-Term Medicaid rules and requirements.
A Utah native, Meagan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Weber State University in 2015. She enjoys reading, writing, movie-going, and spending time with friends and family.
Jasmine joined Utah Senior Planning as a case worker after having previously worked as a CNA in a long-term Memory Care unit for two years. She assists our clients with document assessment, review, and works hand-in-hand with both our advisors and case managers to assure our clients’ needs are met. Jasmine is fluent in Spanish, loves the outdoors, animals, and spending time with her family. She is currently studying Social Work at Weber State University.
Brooke is a Medicaid advisor and assists clients in navigating the complex web of public benefit programs. Having worked in the skilled nursing industry for the past six years, Brooke’s experience with those in the aging community is a great resource for our company and our clients. Brooke hails from Lodi, Ohio and graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Communications. In her spare time, Brooke loves the outdoors, sports, cooking, spending time with her family, including her golden retriever, Winston.
